But that is why broad-brushing is never a good idea. A white kid living in a trailer park where is parents won't send him to school because his clothes smell like ammonia from all the meth cooking and usage would not think he had some automatic leg up on a AA kid being born in the projects.

Poverty sadly seems to be the great equalizer.
