15. Was it really necessary to go there? I thought we were better than that here on DU?

By all accounts, Rep Jackson Lee doesn't have the necessary and desirable background to fill this position. I was actually a little taken aback when Secretary Napolitano was nominated. She had little if any security background or intel experience. And to be quite frank, some of that showed during her tenure.
