I don't think it works that way. For instance, did you know that one or the other of the brothers would have to run for a given office not both of them at the same time.

Personally, I'm excited about all these Generation Jones progressives hitting the news in Texas at the same time. I don't think they detract from each other. I very seriously doubt that we'll elect any state wide Dems in the next 10 years, but that doesn't mean running is just tilting at windmills. It will create a groundswell of local liberal office holders who will start to undo the damage caused by two generations of Republican malfeasance.
