But while blaming all Repubs is justifiable, maybe blaming just Cruz and "30 or 40 people in the House" is wiser ?

Seems a fair number of older Repubs in House & Senate hate the Pee Tardies but haven't spoken out against them because they're afraid (of what I'm unclear).

Maybe Dems and those older R's could do that "enemy of my enemy is my friend" thang and reach across the aisle ?

(Preferably with a strand of barbed wire they lift to about 4 inches off from the floor just as Cruz walks by ... ?)
