When you have tens, possibly hundreds, of millions of people turned into climate refugees, forced to move away from islands and the coastline, you will inevitably have conflict, social unrest, and war.
At the same time, much coastal farmland, vital for rice production, will also be wiped out, leading to starvation.
The inevitable change is most assuredly NOT good.

Unfortunately due climate change most islands will be inhabitable sooner than later.
