He was profiled because of his license plate.

I agree - they're on the losing side of an argument, especially now that Uruguay has broken international prohibition too. But this will be a "dangerous" time because of those afraid of such changes. This is always the case, across so many issues, it seems.

I wonder if we'll see any movement on the Congressional push to reschedule in 2014.

Democrats are probably hoping to use this issue to bring voters to the polls for midterms and siphon off some of the libertarian vote for candidates. So far, running as pro-legalization has been a winner for those pols who've done so.
