Every time I got suckered into voting for some "greater good", I and other women got snookered because, of course, what was important to us was never addressed.

So, I pretty much look at absolutely every bill through the "how does this affect me" lenses. If it affects me negatively or doesn't address my factors, then I usually won't support it.

Keep in mind, things like Gay Marriage affect me because removing any kind of discrimination has a positive effect on me.

But sacrificing my rights for some "greater good" has simply meant that white men continue to make the rules.
