1. Some years in Boston there would be a storm every 3 days

a conveyor belt of snow that would dump anywhere from 3 inches to a foot. The light snowfalls would obscure deep puddles of black slush barely skinned over with new snow and stepping into one was a daily disaster and by the time the shift was over and my feet were finally dry, it was time to go home and do it all over again.

The northeast has been spoiled by too many mild winters. This year looks like what used to be normal there. I'm glad I left if things are getting back to normal.
