In reply to the discussion: Trayvon's Girlfriend Recalls Final Conversation Before Shooting ("What Are You Following Me For?") [View all]catchnrelease
(2,165 posts)"Zimmerman said he had stepped out of his truck to check the name of the street he was on when Trayvon attacked him from behind as he walked back to his truck, police said. He said he feared for his life and fired the semiautomatic handgun he was licensed to carry because he feared for his life."
This guy's story is totally inconsistent. First he says he followed/chased the kid, and now he's saying he got out of his car and was attacked. (Mr Neighborhood Watch doesn't know the streets of the neighborhood he supposedly drives around regularly?) Wouldn't he know that since he had been on the phone with dispatch with one story of chasing a kid, he is now contradicting himself about being attacked from behind?

Re: the police calling Trayvon's father--I can't find the story where I read this earlier today, but the father said that he only found out what happened after he had called the police with a missing child report after Trayvon didn't return home. The police came to the father's girlfriend's home the next day with a photo of Trayvon with blood coming out of his mouth, asking if this was the missing boy. Nice. (I believe this story was from a link in one of the two stories mentioned above)
