too outrageous to be true, especially considering he was killed so close to his father's home.

I didn't know he had a cell phone until yesterday so that made me wonder, how could they NOT have identified him if he had a cell phone?

More and more this is looking like a standard, police cover-up. And I just heard that the guy in charge of this case let another guy who beat up a homeless person, go without charges last year. I remember that case.

There are no words, really. That poor family. First to lose a precious child, but then to have to endure the fact that those in authority placed no value on his life. I've been in that position, and I can say with certainty that when that happens, the pain of the loss is doubled, it's hard to explain. But it's like the person died twice.
