(58,724 posts)In regards to these four, look at the first one. It has that whole area in green labeled "Palestinian land" but it was occupied by the British at the time.
The second map is of a proposed plan that was never implemented - and was, in fact, rejected by the Palestinian side (and all neighboring Arab states).
Had that plan been implemented back in 1947, there would be a free and independent Palestinian state today (which it had never been prior to that date) celebrating over sixty years of independence.
Also, there is an interesting jump to the third map, which, conveniently skips over the nearly twenty years that the West Bank and Gaza were occupied, not by Israel, but by Jordan and Egypt.
This whole sequence is obviously designed for propaganda purposes (and clearly has been effective in that regard) but is more than a little deceptive.
