Heinous ASL prank moves Drew Carey to donate 10,000 reward for catching pranksters

26. First of all

this was not a "prank" and I wish people would stop referring to it that way!!!!!! It was BULLYING and HARASSMENT of the worst kind and the kids who did it need to be arrested and punished for assault. Secondly, I'm no fan of Drew Carey, but I applaud him for this.

Oh….why am I so pissed? Because I have an autistic son, and if anyone had pulled such a stunt on him, they and their parents would have been hit with charges, big time. Fortunately he went to a high school which, as one student put it, "has always had kids who were different, so we take responsibility for them." (The high school traditionally housed the special ed. school until mainstreaming occurred). This kind of behavior by some students would probably have been dealt with by other students, and not in a nice way.
