It is merely not being required of them.
This ruling does not affect believers in any way whatsoever.
Just another in a long series of Robertson stupidities.
BTW, allowing gays to marry does not affect straight marriages in any way whatsoever, either.
I wish these folk would spend more time worrying about their own behaviors and less time worrying about what everyone else is or isn't doing.
