Local police continued their search Sunday for a suspect who wounded a Ferguson police officer Saturday night. Authorities said Sunday that the incident involved just one suspect, rather than the two they had reported the night before.
Police also confirmed that the wounded officer had a body camera, but that it was turned off during the incident.
The wounded officer was released Sunday from Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He had been shot once in the left arm.
St. Louis County Police Sgt. Brian Schellman, a police spokesman, said he did not know why the officers camera was off.
Ferguson police officers began wearing body cameras on Aug. 31, three weeks after a white police officer, Darren Wilson, fatally shot Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager....

It gets worse--there was only 1 guy, not 2...and the cop's body camera was turned OFF.
