I've read multiple threads about other candidates, and when push comes to shove, most here say they would still rather have Hillary than whoever the GOP candidate would be. And I think DU is to the left of most of the Dem party, so I think the huge majority of Dems would vote for her even if they preferred someone else.
But you bring up an interesting point; Perot was an oddball and got 19%. What if there WAS and Independent candidate who was a popular well known, man/woman? It could be interesting.
