I've never met any of his coworkers, but they go out for drinks and what not after work a lot and hang out. I was out of town all day yesterday, and when I got back, my roommate was a mess. His wife was helping out with their kid while he and I hung out in the garage and drank some beers while he waxed poetic about his boss. Apparently on Friday night he had requested to work a double on Saturday, but he was turned down. He was scheduled to come in at 4. He's quite lucky. I know him. He would've been right next to the owner trying to wrestle the gun away.

They've been up at the hospital all day with Ida, the manager. She's in good condition, albeit I'm sure she's a complete mess as well.
