I went to an Indivisible meeting this morning, and toward the end, when more general comments were part of the agenda, I brought up George Lakoff. Some people actually knew who he was and were enthusiastic about it. I'm amazed and somewhat discouraged that more often than not, when I've brought him up with people, most of them have never heard of him.

GOD this is so urgent! We HAVE TO fix our messaging problem! We HAVE TO understand this stuff. We SUCK at messaging. THAT'S what has to change.

If I had ANY influence with Tom Perez, I'd be urging him to hire George Lakoff as an executive consultant and coach.
