4. I'm all for using Genetic Ancestry DNA for cold cases as long as there is a warrant to obtain

information. DoJ is asking police and other investigators not to announce when they do use ancestry DNA analysis, to keep it on the downlow and there is just something wrong about that being stated to investigators.

As long as they can get a warrant to do a search, sure; other than that, maybe do a little more investigating before getting the warrant, though I do notice that family members did offer their DNA for potential matches, which is not true in all these type of cases.

Double-edged sword here...
