mother earth

Indeed - he was a great man - way ahead of his time in many ways - and he was good at making science locking interesting to a curious kid of age 8.. I have in some way always been interested in the universe - much thanks to his writing - the book Cosmos - and the series - and the books he have written.. And I got the impression that he was a great man, whose humanity was there too - even though that might come later as I mature a little more And he defently was one of them, who at least made a inpact on me - as I was growing up.. And often was reading books, many years ahead of my age group.. I doubt so many of my own agegroup was reading about the universe and how a star was made up - at age 9... I belive I even have a few of his books somewhere.. I might have to buy some more bookshells to have some of my books up instad in boxes.. A healty book, is a book who "know" it is in use...

Some here at DU even had the pleasure of bumping into the man - and had a very interesting evening as he was out dinning - and for some reason they got to talk to the man - and was talking about everything on their mind - to the wee hours of evening - even the restaurant owner was there all night - sitting after closing hours - just to have the pleasure of conservation between minds... I wish it was me
