mother earth

Carl Sagan would absolutely be one of the top ten I would break bread with if I was given the chance - over some food, and just talk.. I'm not sure If I would be the smartest person around the table - but I'm pretty sure I would be given a lot of knowledge I have not been able to understand before.. He looked like a person who could communicate difficult things - in words even a common like myself would understand.. Another person I would love to break bread with is Professor Hawking's - even though I believe him would look at me, as a very boring person, as have troubles grasp some of what he take as granted - but it would be cool, to just be in the same room as Prof Hawking's... I suspect I might would have been more at peace with lets say Einstein - or Isac Newton than Hawking's - who i at least feel is little frighting - mostly because of his intelligence... I'm afraid I would ask so many silly questioning that the professor would wonder if I was still a toddler..

I was one of this kids - who was geeky for the most part - never had to many friends - and some of my best friends was the books - who I was reading alot... Back home we had a lot of books - and from the time i mastered reading - I was reading true many of the books - even books who was maybe to difficult to me to really understand at the time... And I was also lucky to have libraries in my boyhood who could be used - and was used when I was growing up .. And I still use the library as best as I can - and have way to much books back home - I lost track when I had 500 or so books... I suspect I have many more now..

You tube is a great place to get to know, exactly this things like this man, who absolutely had a impact on me - maybe far more than I believe, as he was able to give me an insight to a difficult thing - the solar system - all the planets - and all the other stuff who are in our little neck in the universe - and then the great unknown who is on the outside of our Little place in the universe... We are indeed a small blue marble in the black space of universe... As Sagan him selfs pointed out in Cosmos. We are responsible for our home - to protect it - to save it from the worst habits of our own - and to make it possible to generations after generations, even after us - to live here - and prosper.. What we do today - have impact for what can be possible maybe 100 year from now...

As a grown man I have a couple of channels where new knowledge is that base - a great thing to have when you still is wondering what is up there at the stars... When you look at the sky a cold winter evening - you have to wonder - all this stars out there - who is blinking and lighting - is there life around the stars - life who might wonder as we do - is there life out there - and can we communicated with it..

And I suspect mr Sagan was one of the triggers - to wonder about what is out there.. Like our ancestors - who wondered what was on the other side of that hill - or what was on the other side of that pound - or that sea.. We humans are at a crossroad in many ways - would we dear do dip our foots out there in space - get our feets wet as our ancestors did when they was daring to sail over the sea - to a unknown future... I know the challenges to be space bearing is greatly more difficult than it was when our ancestors was sailing over the seas to discover new frontiers - but it is doable - if we use the resources needed... If we stop waging wars and spend the money more smart - on making life better for all of us - and to find out how to "crack the code" when it come to space travel - we will be able to do it.. To crack the code - and build a future not even the most adventurous forefather would have been able to do...

DU is a place, where you can find kind spirits from all parts of the world - sometimes you get along - others rub your feathers the wrong way - or I rub their feathers the wrong way at some point - a couple have even put me on ignore because of it... Mostly because I was not able to write in english what I really was telling about an issue. But I guess - it is a loss for them - not for me.
