for anybody who doesn't yet understand why it's so important for Christie to face justice

Meticulous in backing up everything he says with objective legal documentation, Manzo makes a convincing and disconcerting case for the governor as an unbridled and sinister political figure who made the most of a seriously flawed Department of Justice and overall judicial system to feed his megalomania and desire for power

The Jersey Sting and The Soprano State take an approach that is much more offender focused. In fact, Bob Ingle, who wrote The Soprano State was quite enamored with Christie up until Bridgegate. Manzo's book is important because it gets into the whole crew-Michelle Brown, Ralph Marra, and his buddies Kevin and Charlie and the rest of his thugs who went from the U.S Attorney's office into high paying NJ state jobs as a reward for their carrying out Christie's self-promoting agenda. The fact that these people were making Christie campaign donations while conducting political prosecutions aimed at burnishing his image should alarm any thinking person.
