9. This is a succession.

Prior to Abby Martin's show, there was Alyona Minkovski and her eponymous show. That show tackled some of the same topics as Abby's did with a different style. And they are both attractive in their kind of way. If another show with another female host comes along and continues that "tradition" so be it. BTW, Ms Minkovski is @ Huffington Post News.

As for CNN, which I continue to watch, it would be a great thing if she was provided with a show, a budget, and true freedom to do the kind of journalism she is known for, but it will never happen. That would be one way of getting people to watch, but CNN is part of the club that we aren't allowed to be a member of, and have to adhere to that. Too bad, really.
