Nomiki Konst, Founder & Publisher, Nomiki is the former founder and Executive Director of Alliance Hollywood, an organization which gives members of the entertainment industry the tools to be effective political communicators. At 28, vying to be the youngest woman elected to US Congress, she was a Democratic candidate in her home district, AZ-2 where she spoke out on issues facing millennials, women, military families and government accountability. Konst writes and speaks regularly in the press about womens issues, millenials and good government and consults corporations on their “millennial strategies.” She launched and ran her first civics education group at 15 and got her start in national politics by organizing upstate NY youth for Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate run. Since then, she’s worked on and fundraised for four Presidential campaigns, several federal candidates, served as a National Co-Chair for Gen44/Obama Re-elect, as an at large member of the DNC Council, a Managing Director and Partner with the Truman National Security Project and is on the LA advisory board of Running Start, an organization dedicated to bringing young women into politics. She was named a Change.org Changemaker of the Year in 2011. Konst recently returned from working in Libya with National Democratic Institute, where she trained women and political leaders on politics, campaigning, media and fundraising. She currently mentors over a dozen young women and is writing a book on the millennial woman. She's a native Arizonan, however her upbringing was split between Arizona and New York State.
