In reply to the discussion: Bill Clinton to Bernie Supporters: If You Think Hillary Supporters are Establishment, “Don't Vote” [View all]JDPriestly

It would be up to Bernie.
But to break up the big banks into healthier sizes, those are the two positions you need.
Just my opinion.
By the way, Bernie is better qualified, much better qualified for the post of Sec. lf the Treasury than is Hillary.
When he first served in the House, he was on the Banking Committee, and he now serves on the Senate Budget Committee.
He does not have a law degree, nevertheless, he is a quick study and could probably serve as Attorney General too after so many years in Congress. He went in in 1992 I believe. That's a long time in Congress.
It's Hillary who lacks the experience with banking and budget matters.

For himself or to have input on the selection? I don't think he has the creds for either position.

I think there should be a push for state banks. Give homeowners and businesses an alternative.
