I am a Bernie supporter. But I don't have a problem with the AP reporting the facts -- and that is what they did.

The AP report was not based on projections or conjecture. The AP counted the delegates (pledged and "super&quot Clinton had at that time. And they reported, accurately, that Clinton had enough to secure the nomination as of that time.

They also reported that their tally included superdelegates. Furthermore, their reporting explained that such delegates don't vote until the convention and that their totals were based on phone canvases of the superdelegates themselves. All of that was absolutely factual and was, btw, the same method they used to call the nomination for Obama in 2008.
