21. Done things the right way? My brother died in agony of cancer
Tue May 2, 2017, 01:54 PM
May 2017

When I was 12. He was just in his twenties. The chemo he was given was crude. It literally burned his flesh. He received massive doses of radiation. This experience altered my life and my parents lives in ways I can't describe. His death taught me the fragility of life and the absolute compassion for the sick and ill, regardless of "done the right way".

I am sure many of you have seen similar experiences or a lot worse. It is quite a feat to demonize the sick. But I guess Rep Brooks feels he and his are immune from cancer and sickness. Although maybe a heartless ghoul possesses no humanity.
