He lived off of that accomplishment for 8 years before Citizens United blew it up. Even though it was his signature legislative accomplishment,in true McCain fashion,he shrugged his shoulders and got in line when it was blown up.

John McCain was a maverick with his words but a right-wing sycophant with his vote.
