Oh, wait... They DID, and he DIDN'T.
Trump suggests the standard NRA line that an armed guard at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, they could have stopped the shooter. 'The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.'
I thought we TESTED that pathetic myth during the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. They HAD an armed policeman on campus, and he was too scared to go inside and confront the shooter. And you know what? I don't BLAME him. He was badly outgunned. But, for blowing up the myth that an armed guard is the solution to mass shootings in America, the right wing noise machine vilified him for months.
However, regardless of the reason, that myth was TESTED, and proven FALSE.
