When my grandfather was oversees during the war, he got to meet her and shake her hand. She visited the hospital and spoke with several of the soldiers. He said she was a beautiful person and that her visit was the best medicine he could've gotten. He also said that if she'd ever run for president he would've voted for her in a heartbeat.
