4. One of my favorite memories of childhood

Seeing it with my dad. Heston might have been a gun nut, but he had roles in three of the most iconic pre-Star Wars science fiction movies (Soylent Green, The Omega Man, and of course Planet of the Apes).

Strongly talked about global warming. This is in 1973.

Movie based on the Harry Harrison novel Make Room, Make Room. By the way those who get so bent out of shape about casting African Americans in roles the source material had as white, the body guard in the book was African American.
