I enjoy Colbert's monologue and the Opening is often very funny. But I'm also a huge Letterman fan. Back in 2008 I was fortunate to actually be in his studio audience! It was quite a thrill to see him in person, we had great seats, 5th row right in front of his desk. And I was impressed with his kindness towards the audience. He came out before the show and answered audience questions and came out again after the show just to thank us for coming. After over 30 years, he didn't have to do that, but that's the kind of guy he is...
