2. We DON'T learn from history.

When most people think about history they think a little about cowboys and Indians, maybe parading around in World War II uniforms (at least for reenactors) and the cr*p we were spoon fed by Hollywood.

I admit I had a chance to ask people about the Spanish Flu from people who were alive back then, but not only was I a clueless kid back then, but I’d assumed that if the world ever faced something like the Spanish Flu again, we’d have it licked before it got started.
