Just found out that my girlfriend's father had a "friend," a man, who lived with them. They were lovers and she told me very matter of factly which blunted the shock value of the revalation at the time. This was my introduction to alternative sexual situations. Then came Hair the musical and all the other popular culture references which followed. It opened my eyes and set me on the path to cultural liberation permanently.
