what was ordered was not what you received, poor quality of what was shipped, etc. Those are all the reasons I’ve returned items to Amazon.

Haven’t, yet, had to return anything from ebay, but I’m extra careful what I buy there. Make sure seller is highly rated and only buy bigger ticket items like used MacBooks or out-of-print books I’m interested in.
