8. I think Trump and his minions have hit the point of making the all-in, go-for-broke wager.

Their goal is to establish totalitarian, one-party rule and to destroy all opposition.
Complete power for the sake of wielding it.

At this stage, it appears that Trump and most republicans are making their last big bet --
they ware willing to unleash every underhanded tactic, break every norm, and ignore
every law that may stand in their way. "Fuck the law. Fuck morality. Fuck the truth.
And fuck anyone who disagrees with us."

Trump is the prototype of "the man of lawlessness" referred to by St. Paul in the Bible,
and he is also the Nero who would burn everything down around himself rather than admit
wrongdoing. In his mind, he is not really a criminal if he is neither caught nor held to account.

Trump is betting that WE don't have the guts to call his bluff, and he cannot fold his hand
because that would leave him with nothing.

The risk they are taking in this bet is that, if we do call their bluff or if his supporters finally
do see that he is just a common cheat who is leading the nation to its death, the whole lot will go
down in ignominious flames and leave a wound which will take generations to heal. Yet, even if
they do fail, they don't give a shit about the consequences. Stealing the country all for themselves
is within their reach.

Trump has brought the country to this precipice. See what happens when you tolerate evil?
