4. Well, I never got my mouth washed out - or paddled - but that was kinda scary

We moved a few times when I was growing up for my Dad's job so I went to different schools, but that was the only one I knew where they still paddled kids! What would happen if they tried that today? Yikes! These days, teachers get in hot water for the books they use...
