6. I supported Bernie until Hillary won the primary - and then I was for Hillary and the dems.

It is a feature/artifact of our party-based systems where allegiances are stated up front and can change.

We have an essentially two-party system in the US. The (r)epuglicons have hijacked the nominally/normally "conservative" group of voters and convinced them to support something now called "illiberalism" (Jeezus - these manufactured terms are confusing - intentionally).

Bernie and the Progressives (do you have a copy of their 1979 original?) are trying to get the fairly intelligent and liberal "democrats" to look at some real social issues.

Stein (and may Nader) is just a spoiler. Other than being another face of the Pauls/libertarians she had nothing to present.

I was, sadly, led into that initial "but what about her emails". A good friend tried to tell me that I wasn't being rational, just parroting things I heard. She was right but I think a lot of us were nudged into not supporting her as vehemently as we should have.
