I couldn't help noticing the videos of crying mothers and children saying farewell to their 40-year-old cab driving fathers were all shot in Chuvashia, Yakutia, and Tuva Republic, all places where a $2,000 ticket to Turkey is three months income. Sending one country's poor to fight pointless wars seems to be the MO of crumbling empires worldwide.
