The officer got an "F". She had the right to not show her receipt. She was right on principle. As a black person sometimes the principle is more important than letting police bully you when you're just trying to go about your business. She says that the poice often harass black people in/out of the store for no reason. They could have watched the security video tape and confirmed that she went through one of the registers and paid. btw Publix ended up "settling" with her.
