Yes, we should have made an agreement with Russia and kept it. Maybe this whole war could have been avoided. War is dramatic and exciting at least at first but it is ultimately very destructive of civilization everywhere, not just in one geograffic area. Some get rich off it or get glory and promotions from it, but for the rest of us it is a disaster.

Is the US goal here to destroy Russia with this proxy war? Maybe not a good idea overall for our world.
