8. No way of knowing what the ultimate intent of the robber was

There have been incidents where the robber killed people for no reason.
A reasonable person would assume that any robber intends to shoot if he
is pointing a gun at people - as this guy was - wildly pointing it at everyone.
So, seems justified under the circumstances. I would very much like to
live in a gun free country - but we don't, and that is reality.
