Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy addressed the controversy around Rep. George Santos (R-NY) as leaders of the Nassau County Republican Party called for Santos, who represents New York’s 3rd Congressional District, to resign from office over his lies to voters and fabrications about his personal life. Santos has said he will not resign.
