The central and eastern part of Turkey is Erdogan's base, so when earthquake relief was applied so unevenly, it pissed one hell of a lot of people off. Since then, he's done some crawling and apologizing, we'll see if it's enough to keep him in power. He didn't do enough of it to suit me, but I don't live there.
