Like some place that you visited with your father. My grandmother was in Florence, she traveled with a friend who had been a neighbor when their kids were growing up and we knew her family, too. And my Nana made friends wherever she went, the guy who lived next door in Arizona took us for rides in the desert and I still have a table that he made.

And if you have family who feels the same way, especially about the climate issue, they might be willing to go with you. Growing up, I lived all over Northern New York because of my father's job - then I was sent to summer camp in Vermont and to boarding school in Massachusetts, so I am not a fan of moving.
