4. Same here. In New York we have Regents Exams for certain subjects. One of them was World History

And of all the Regents Exams I took, World History was my second highest grade. And there was certainly a lot about WWI and WWII, but then I knew that the nazis were really bad at a much younger age, I figured that everybody knew that. And in 9th grade, the teacher made sure that we knew who our senators were and we learned about the Civil Rights Movement and how George Wallace had managed to stay in office even though he couldn't succeed himself. Do they teach these important parts of our history anymore?
