what people do who can't afford dental visits.

I read about an event (in rural Virginia? I'm not sure) where many dentists set up tents at a fairgrounds and worked on poor folks for free who were in desperate need of dental work. I believe this was in the New York Times a while ago. People drove across states to get in line for this free service. Some folks hadn't seen a dentist in their whole life. The event lasted for 3 days, I think. Hundreds of folks got their free dental visit and were so appreciative. It just infuriates me that in a country like ours, this huge need exists. After I read that, I promised myself I'd never complain about going to the dentist again!
