I.E. TJT tour, April 1987 ...

I wasn't chasing them during my college spring break from San Diego to LA to Oakland or anything, about a month after the album's release ... nor did I wait around for 2+ hours after the show at the LA Sports Arena for the band to come out, nor did I get a high-five from Bono (who's hair looked exactly like mine) standing out the roof of his limo as they drove slowly through the awaiting crowd ...

I also didn't again see them again a 4th time (my 5th overall) around Nov. 1987 on the outdoor leg of TJT tour, in which they invited Armand Vaillancourt (who was the designer of the fountain in the Embarcadero that Bono 'defaced' with "Stop The Traffic Rock and Roll" while video recording a free show for Rattle and Hum, enraging Mayor DiFi) onstage to 'deface' their stage with a giant paintbrush ...

Nothing of THAT untoward nature
