It's 2:30 in the morning, everyone is asleep (except me, obviously). I want to go into the kitchen and grab a snack, but doing so will incur the wrath of the dogs who are in bed with Paul. See, no one eats in the house without the dogs being able to watch. If I walk past the bedroom door there will be a flurry of activity and that will very nearly wake Paul up (he's a heavy sleeper).

So I sit here, tummy growling, fending off kitty attacks when Cider deigns to acknowledge my presence.

Someone bring a pizza. We can even share!
