11. They don't really grow down here

A few here and there...we get those ugly thistles..but I think I've had one or two thistles in the past 20 years.

Most of our weeds are winter weeds, except hackberries..(ugh) Most Texas natives trees are extremely deep rooted. Birds eat the berries, sit on fences and spawn millions of hackberries.
