8. If you have bookshelves look there...I have sometimes put keys on a shelf by mistake.

Then forgot about it.

Another great way to find keys is to start cleaning up.

Also, looks around the area you normally put your keys, look really well. They could be under a piece of paper within a few inches of the place you normally put them.

Search or clean systematically. Clean and search one space at a time. Move to next space after you finish.
